Overview

Provides general administrative, logistical and customer service support to program delivery staff. Participates in the development and delivery of effective energy efficiency solutions in the DCSEU markets while contributing to a mission-driven, creative, enjoyable and stimulating work environment.

Location:

This is a hybrid position, and the ideal candidate will be located in Washington, DC.

 

Compensation:

At VEIC, we are committed to pay transparency. The starting pay range for this position will be between $56,500-$59,475 ($29.00/hour-$30.50/hour). Based on market data, pay may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and location. Please discuss your intended work location with the recruiter for more information. The total compensation package for this position also includes a full range of medical benefits, 403(b) eligibility with match, Combined Time Off (CTO), Care and Concern leave, Parental leave, wellbeing benefit, a community service day, and eight paid holidays that are effective as of your first day of employment.

Responsibilities

  • Supports program team with program execution.
  • Coordinates internal meetings and meetings with clients.
  • Coordinates with other VEIC/DCSEU team members on administrative tasks.
  • Assists with program solicitations by tracking and compiling questions and scoring criteria.
  • Provides administrative support to webinars, meetings, etc, including recording participants, preparing agendas, taking notes, and conducting follow up.
  • Works with team to track progress with meeting specified program goals.
  • Utilizes proprietary CRM database to track and manage projects and programs.
  • Tracks responses to program solicitations.
  • Reviews documentation for accuracy and compliance.
  • Assists with issue resolution and documentation verification.
  • Continues to grow our reach into the community and beyond about our program and the DCSEU.
  • Helps build and maintain program database.
  • Provides support to the activities of VEIC as necessary to accomplish organizational goals and objectives.

Qualifications

  • Strong personal commitment to the mission, vision, goals and values of VEIC.
  • High school degree or a combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and skills are acquired.
  • Two years’ of work experience in an organization that involves data tracking and management, administrative, and communications experience.
  • Demonstrated passion for and commitment to solar, the environment and the District of Columbia.
  • Advanced interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships and other partnerships to support program objectives.
  • Experience collaborating effectively with diverse audiences.
  • Energetic, self-motivated, person.
  • Team player.
  • Detail oriented and capable of handling multiple priorities.
  • Ability to establish and maintain working relationships with staff members, community leaders, business leaders, supporters, media, and other stakeholders.
  • Computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite required.
  • Must have the ability to effectively work with a variety of individuals at all levels.
