The Controller directs and manages all accounting and financial transactional processes for VEIC and its subsidiaries including payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, treasury and asset management. The Controller ensures that appropriate internal financial control procedures are in place and operational. The Controller is responsible for VEIC’s implementation of the Federal Office of Management and Budget (OMB) grant operations rules, regulations, cost principles and audit requirements as detailed in applicable OMB Circulars and required by VEIC clients. The Controller ensures all general ledger activities for VEIC and subsidiaries are in accordance with GAAP and that governing policies, procedures and documentation are up to date, properly communicated and organizationally enforced.
The Controller acts as a resource to the Director of Finance, the CFO, and the Senior and Executive Leadership Teams, and provides accounting guidance to accommodate corporate and contract objectives. This position will be a member of the Finance Leadership team.

Credit Check Requirement: Due to the fiduciary responsibilities and the sensitive nature of the Controller position, a satisfactory credit check is required for employment. This check will be conducted in compliance with applicable laws and will be used to assess financial responsibility and integrity.
Experience in a comprehensive ERP system. Experience in NetSuite preferred.
