Overview

The Creative and Digital Project Manager will support communications and marketing initiatives for VEIC. The Creative and Digital Project Manager works directly with the Manager, Marketing Operations to develop a strategic and integrated approach to creative and digital marketing initiatives that focuses on increasing the overall efficiency and scalability in the creative and digital production process. The Project Manager will work synergistically with our brand and creative and digital teams to identify the full scope of projects, unique considerations and requirements, setting timelines from kick-off to delivery. The Project manager will manage creative and digital resource tracking and the establishment and maintenance of standard processes and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Works with the brand teams to understand project scopes and how this work fits in to overall strategies and objectives. Clarify key executional considerations, and desired timing. Work with the C&D team to bring new ideas to the table that build on the written brief and anticipate project needs.  
  • Responsible for working with the brand team and creative and digital teams to clarify omnichannel briefs and outline of objectives, key deliverables, and critical success factors prior to the start of work. 
  • Responsible for using project management tools to build-out project details that outline creative deliverables, timelines, and assignments, and maintains project management software to provide project stakeholders transparency of where work is in the process. Coordinate and schedule internal reviews to maintain and hold the team accountable to timelines, project reviews and key milestones.  
  • Responsible for maintaining project management tools and all-team production meetings to ensure we are meeting the needs of the organization with highly effective creative and digital solutions. 
  • Proactively identifies resource constraints and sets project prioritizations with the marcom directors. 
  • Manage and track resources weekly to identify risks and ensure we are tracking against our scopes and budgets.  
  • Works proactively with the Director of Creative and Digital to identify and manage external vendors and freelancers.  
  • Works with the brand teams and creative and digital teams to deliver work that is excellent, on time, on budget and goes beyond the brief. Independently manages several workflows that require a meticulous sense of detail. Ensures timely completion through all phases. Identify dependencies and impacts of delays.  
  • Motivates, directs and challenges teams to produce great work.

Qualifications

  • Strong personal commitment to the mission, vision, goals and values of VEIC. 
  • Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of three years of marketing, advertising, brand management, or project management experience or a combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and skills are acquired.  
  • Demonstrated ability in working/collaborating within a team and supporting the needs of internal clients, designers, web developers, and vendors. 
  • Demonstrated experience managing marketing production processes, and collaborating with copywriters, designers, web developers, and other creative resources. 
  • Understanding of design and web development processes. 
  • Proven time management, organizational and problem-solving skills; the ability to juggle and meet multiple deadlines at once. 
  • The ability to troubleshoot challenges as they arise with a problem-solving, positive mindset. 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with experience in collaborating with Brand Directors, project stakeholders, and cross-functional teams. 
  • Previous experience working within a communications or digital-focused agency. Previous experience preferred, but not required 
  • Computer skills including proficiency with word processing, project management software, spreadsheets, and MS Office. Knowledge of Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, and web content management systems
