The Engineering Manager leads with a focus on strategic impact, technical vision, customer value, and staff centered practices. This role identifies, leads, and drives core management efforts to create beneficial change across staff and work strategy including leadership role to develop and evolve our business in critical places like energy efficiency, decarbonization. This position will also manage, supervise, coordinate, and lead the activities and staff necessary to optimize the delivery of Efficiency Vermont services to succeed in our impact with rate payers and partners (residential, multifamily, commercial, industrial, and institutional).

Internal - Work is normally performed in climate-controlled office environment, where exposure to conditions of extreme heat/cold, poor ventilation, fumes and gases is very limited. Noise level is moderate and includes sounds of normal office equipment (computers, telephones, etc.). No known environmental hazards are encountered in normal performance of job duties.
External - Less than 20% travel is required within the state of Vermont. Occasional events may involve lifting, distributing, and disposing of energy efficiency materials.
Company will provide adaptive devices as needed.
