The Engineering Consultant role identifies, advocates for and advises on energy efficiency improvements in new construction and existing industrial, commercial and multi-family buildings and facilities. Skilled in enumerating greenhouse gas (GHG) impacts and savings potential, as well as developing innovative approaches for quantifying and reducing GHG impacts in commercial and industrial processes. Participates in the development and delivery of market-based services to maximize the penetration of cost-effective energy efficiency in business markets while contributing to a mission-driven, creative, enjoyable and stimulating work environment.
This role enjoys engaging work within a non-profit, forward-thinking, energy consulting business and is available to work entirely remotely (depending on needs/location) or hybrid with VEIC having physical offices in Winooski, Vermont, and D.C.. The ideal candidate will live in the District of Columbia and have experience conducting ASHRAE audits.
