The Finance and Contract Analyst is responsible for supporting the financial and contractual management of DCSEU program operations.
Remote work is an option for this position.
Responsibilities
Develops and monitors subcontract and programmatic metrics, reports, budgets, and costs in accordance with current contractual and financial terms and conditions and identifies risk.
Reviews and analyzes current contractual, financial, and programmatic requirements and develops tools for program offerings.
Reviews and maintains DCSEU A/P vendor, incentive, subcontract, and milestone records, for agreements to ensure appropriate documentation and approval.
Supports the preparation of financial and contractual external and internal monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
Provides support to the annual financial and program savings audits, providing documentation and process procedures.
Serve as a resource, in the re-engineering effort and process improvement of financial and contractual operations.
Coordinates activities with other staff and divisions within DCSEU/VEIC, as is necessary, to accomplish DCSEU goals and objectives.
Provides support to the activities of VEIC as necessary to accomplish organizational goals and objectives.
Qualifications
Strong personal commitment to the mission, vision, goals and values of VEIC.
Associate’s degree or a combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and skills are acquired.
Five years program finance and/or contract administration experience, or a combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and skills are acquired
Demonstrated ability to multi-task and work with a diverse work group of program and technical leaders, vendors, executives, subcontractors, consultants, and other professionals
Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and written/oral communication skills
Demonstrated abilityh to work independently and meet deadlines in a high paced environment
Strong desktop computing skills and experience with Microsoft Office
